[Patrimonium_Europae]

THE HISTORY OF EARLY MEDIEVAL CLOTHING IN EUROPE is a project which aim is to:

- describe, analyze and interpret archeological and historical sources concerning this subject,
- attempt to characterize and reconstruct the garment, ornamentsand everyday use objects
- gather information concerning the producers of historical garments and accessories
- promulgate and popularize the knowledge concerning this subject.

Within the project, we plan to conduct a series of lectures and workshops, as well as organize exhibitions and issue publications.

Currently we are working on a publication concerning Scandinavian attire from the Viking period.
